Chestnuts with milk


The chestnut pudding is a dish of chestnuts (cagoxas) typical of the province of Lugo (Galicia, Spain). Chestnuts participate in various celebrations Galicia (an example is the magosto, a kind of Halloween party). It is usually served as a dessert or breakfast.

ingredients:

- 200 grams of dried chestnuts.
- 1 liter of milk.
- Water.

Preparation:

- We cook the dried chestnuts in a pot with water. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Chestnuts drain them and cut into pieces.
- Handed out a liter of milk in bowl and toss them chopped chestnuts

Note: add sugar to sweeten
