The nun's farts are biscuits typical of Catalonia (Spain). The name of this dessert has nothing to do with flatulence: its inventor was an Italian baker who lived in Barcelona who named the cookies with the name Petto di Monacca, referring to its shape pectoris (chest nun) that led to the name of a nun farts.
ingredients:
- 3 eggs.
- 150 grams of sugar.
- 250 gr of flour.
- The zest of one lemon.
Preparation:
- In a bowl beat the eggs, add the sugar and lemon zest.
- Let gradually adding flour while mixing going. The mixture should be fluffy and thick texture.
- Preheat oven to 180 º.
- Put baking paper on the tray and, with the help of a pastry bag, we are doing the nun farts about the size of a coin of 20 cents.
