Spanish fritters


The first company that fritters were consumed Andalusian Moors. They were consumed by people of humble means who lived in the territories of southern Iberia and positions of menial labor, also played the craft vendors fritters. In the Moorish kingdoms of Seville and Granada, were typical fried the fritters covered in oil and honey.

ingredients:

- 200 gr of flour.
- 50 g butter.
- 5 eggs.
- 500 ml of milk.
- 1 small glass of water.
- 1 lemon peel.
- Sugar.
- 1 pinch of cinnamon.
- Oil.
- Sal

Preparation:

- Heat in a saucepan or microwave, milk with water and lemon rind.

- In a bowl pour the flour and make a hole in the center. We add the eggs, butter and hot milk (we will have it removed prior to milk the lemon rind) and mix all the ingredients with your fingers.

- Knead the mixture until it hit us in the fingers, with the help of a roller extend the dough on a floured surface and cut into regular squares.

- Put a pan fire with plenty of oil in it and fry until they turn golden.

- Once the fritters are golden, Toss them on a platter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
